On The Fence is a small family business which was started in the summer of 2002 with only a hammer and nails to our name. We began making simple fence panels and trellis work at home for local landscape gardeners and fencing contractors. Gradually, we built a reputation for value and quality and moved into our first workshop premises at Hull Road in York.
After only six months space limitations forced our move to our current premises, a large workshop in Strensall, just outside York. Here we manufacture and retail our fencing, sheds and other garden timber products. We cater for trade and the public. DIY enthusiasts are welcomed. We also offer a unique range of unparalleled quality garden ware imported from Europe then distributed in the UK, which we supply to our extensive client base of local professionals and businesses across the area.
Being a modern company we are all too aware of the impact of our consumption on our natural resources. As result of this our own range of products are created using only high quality timber, pressure treated with 'Tanalith E'.
