Services
Rose's Gardening & Fencing Services was founded in 2010 by Rupert and Ellen Rose as a family run business.
Whilst Ellen was working as a volunteer at a day centre for the elderly, she frequently heard comments from them that they found it difficult to know who they could trust to do small jobs around their homes and in particular their gardens; the most common requirement, they were almost afraid not knowing who they could turn to, leaving them very much in a quandary.
Rupert has 30+ years of working with wood and a way of putting people's ideas into reality.
Rose's has gardeners that can deal with your small or larger projects that you may want just once or twice a year or regularly.
GARDEN CLEARANCES - We have some quite large equipment that can deal with even the most overgrown areas.
PRUNING FRUIT TREES - Apples & pears in the winter months and plums and cherries just after fruiting.
We have a variety of gardeners that just concentrate solely on regular garden maintenance.
They are picked by us not just because of their gardening skills but also for their caring, helpful, listening and good communication skills.
We are pleased to be able to offer our customers good quality local TURF & ARTIFICAL GRASS.
All of our new lawns are rolled before laying the new turf to prevent a sponge effect when walking over.
It is essential that your new lawn turf should be kept moist during the first month especially the edges and therefore watering is often under estimated.
In mid-summer, it can take an hour for the water to soak an inch into the turf and it will need watering daily or in a heatwave twice a day.
It is important to water either in the early morning or late evening to avoid scorching from the mid-day sun on the wet grass.
