R.H. Fencing The Northampton Fencing Service - a friendly, reliable family business, supplying and erecting all fence types, both domestic and commercial, in and around the Northampton region. Quality workmanship and customer satisfaction play a key part in our fencing business and we have plenty of first class *references (see Testimonials and Web Reviews), together with numerous pictures of past fencing projects, see our fencing gallery on the left.

Below are some of the most frequently requested fences if you're not sure what you really want. Simply e-mail or call for more information and we will be pleased to help. We are fully insured and offer a free no obligation survey and quotation. Overlap panels are common garden fencing, sometimes known as larch lap panels, they are familiar to us all.

They come in standard heights of 3', 4', 5' & 6' supported with either wooden or concrete posts. Life expectancy is less than fences such as close board and are not suitable for exposed locations.
Services
If you would like to contact us regarding any fencing work you require or simply a free quotation please use any of the methods below.
Please note the details below are for our fencing customers only.
This is our preferable method of contact as we are a small family business and we operate from home.
Unfortunately we are often out of the office on site but always check our e-mails daily.
If you wish to talk to us then you will find that using the mobile number below will take you straight to us while we are on site.
In this day and age it is important to make our customers feel at ease with our service, product, quality and indeed us!
We totally understand that having complete strangers invading your space from several days and up to a few weeks can be intimidating.
Fueled by the ever ending "rogue trader" type T.V. programmes who can blame anybody.
Fortunately we are not all the same and we take pride in the work we do.
Hopefully the written references below will help you make the right decision.
Please feel free and ask to look at this portfolio.
3 Gravel boards are fixed to the lower part of the posts onto which the feather edge boards will rest.
The gravel boards serve to keep the boards from getting too wet and also as the name suggests to hold back gravel or soil.
5 Here we see the reverse of the fence.
This will normally face the property when the fence fronts onto a public path/road.
The reason for this is to prevent the arris rails being used to scale the fence.
This does not have to be the case when using this type of fence to separate rear gardens not accessible by the public.
It is always prudent to consult your neighbours before you construct any fencing, on certain sites you will also need to consult your local authority's building control department for permission according to planning rules: these govern the size and appearance of construction and their effect on, for example, neighbouring gardens and adjoining footpaths.
Structures that front a boundary on a road must conform to building regulations, especially with regard to safety.
Planning permission may need to be granted.
The best way for us to give you a full quotation is to visit the site at your convenience from which we can gain the full picture.
However we do understand that many of our customers are initially trying to get an estimation of the cost and are sometimes unhappy for a tradesman to visit for fear of pressure selling.
Please rest assured you will not experience such sales tactics with R.H. Fencing.
We will survey the site and then contact you by your requested method with a full and final price.
There are no hidden extras and we do not change the price as we go along.
