George Hammond operates a bespoke Ironwork business creating pieces in iron, steel and stainless steel, from the mundane and functional to the artistic and visual stimulating. Commissions created for the home such as furniture, club fenders, lights, candlesticks, weathervanes and boot scrapers. For the garden and estates, such products as park fencing and railings and gates, which can be automated as an option, Pergolas, arches and obelisks and also fountains tailored to compliment any garden design.

Pieces are created from architect's drawing or from clients ideas sketched "on the back of an envelope". A full design service is offered where George works closely with the client to provide the perfect result at a Realistic price. All pieces are finished to the clients requirements - from bare metal for the client to decorate to fully galvanised and nylon coating for supreme weather protection.
